Since we have moved to poker, olympics, & baseball-
I have a friend that will play any American handball (3 or 4 wall) for $$$. Maybe you guys in Florida or New York or California know someone interested. 1 wall, we can match the game up too.

Four wall - how much? Window is open. Most in NYC play one wall with a big ball.

From a limited youtube search... is 4 wall handball just like raquetball but with your hands?

Yes sir. In fact James, only for you - you can play with a raquet and my friend will play with his hands.

Is the game played the same? I played competitive raquetball in college... I'll try him at $1/set for as many sets as we can do non-stop without food or water. Last man standing takes all the cash.

Yes the same. Score only on your serve. Usually games to 21. Win two games to win a set. Tiebreaker game to 11.
Save up your money and let me know when u want to play for $2000 a set.
You are probably in better shape, my friend is about 5'10 and weighs 210 lbs. About 25 lbs out of shape.

Hahah thanks for the offer big guy.
Just to clarify, the $1 game offer wasn't because I can't afford more, it was to emphasize the sheer ridiculousness of your offer. I could afford $2k sets, but I certainly won't be playing them anytime soon. I have better options in my investment portfolio.
FWIW, I'm about 5'10" ~170lbs and I get a good amount of exercise daily. So yeah, I'm in better shape. Not that it would matter at all in a contest like this. I sure would like to see your friend play someone else though. (While we're making silly comments, at 5'10" ~210 he's a heck of a lot more than 25lbs out of shape...)
Do people actually take you up on these offers?
edit: This is all meant in a lighthearted way by me, hopefully the same for you.

Sure do. Played a match a few weeks ago for $3500. Actually have it on video.
Been talking for a year about playing a guy in NYC for $25K but there always seems to be a stall & no guarantee to the bet so we haven't gone to traveling there. As soon as it was, we would be there.
