Rules of Challenging

- The Challenger should have around 200 posts on the AZB Forums and be of good reputation.
- The King will post a short list of three or more games they are willing to play against a Challenger.
- The games offered should be of a fair length. Matches in 8-ball, 9-ball, and 10-ball should be to 7 or longer; one-pocket to 3 or longer; straight pool to 150.
- The games will also be straight-up without handicaps or spots.
- The King will have priority to host the match.
- The standard bet for the challenge is $50.

Just a note; elvicash has challenged me for the title Indiana 14.1 AZB King. We expect to play sometime in the next few weeks.

I do think it would be a good rule to have "loser posts." Loser of the match should have the gumption to post the results and recap the match (otherwise the winner will always come off as an egomaniacal nit.....which in my case would possibly be an accurate assessment, but might not be fair to the other AZB "royalty"). Just a thought.

You are too modest rossaroni. You have tried to play, but it seems softshot has been ducking you for various reasons after HE called you out.

I guess I will be hosting the King of WI match. I will take some video clips and post them. And quit poking fun at Queens. Somebody has to hold the pool cues. LOL

I don't agree with Stuckarts claim on King Of AZB 9s

He only won a tournament in some very small semi Northern Arizona town playing bar box 8-ball against "league" players...and only a specific group of league players (it was not a true "open" event) and was only a single discipline 8-ball ;) ;) ;)

Too boot he is not even currently residing in Arizona.

breaknrun and I are in negotiations for a all around type format as I type.

The BRKNRUN vs breaknrun showdown is in the works.

Until our match happens or the Chucklez vs SteveH match happens, I beleive the spot should be listed as TBD.

I am willing to forgo my match with breaknrun for a round robing type format including multiple 9 rated players.

Nothing real expensive but enough to make it interesting...$25 winner take all....(Money + "AZB9 King" title)

Round robin type format 8-Ball ,9-Ball, 10-Ball whatever race to 10.

Open to any 9 (on the sheet) player. If we get the 4 (or if Stuckart actually comes out of hiding up in cheese land) or 5 listed players to pony up...two players play and Lenny plus the other three can commentate.

When all the matches are done...we will then have a "true" AZB 9 King

IMO....;) :)

Don't think the title was self claimed. I was told I should start out as the King. Personally I could care less. This is meant to be fun. Glad you think the tiny tournament I won was meaningless. Last I checked it was the only 2008 State tournament in Arizona. No handicaps, straight race. Sorry that playing on the barbox doesn't count for real pool. Guess we should have invited all the APA, TAP and AZPL players, because the talent pool of BCA was not enough.

Oh yeah, I'm back in Arizona.

I'm down for a round robin, just depends on the timing of it all.

We could always put Scooby as King of the 9's since he won the official 9's tournament. Just a thought.

Yep I tend to agree....

I REALLY wanted to play in that but I just could not justify spending the entry to the wife since I am currently out of work.

It sucks...I am ready for a tournament like that to come around for the last year and just when I am out work and no money...it comes around.

such is life.

Congrats on the title,me and Bval played for ours to get it going.I would love to see you match up on the stream with another 9 but no one seems willing to play.I think Jack Scerca is willing to play,if you would be up for an all around with Jack, perhaps 8 ball,9 ball and straight pool, whatever you guys decide then call him out or confirm here that you will play.

I will play.

Stuckart can pick all three of the games AND I will give up weight if he puts some $$$ on it.

Stuckart, are you going to give anyone a chance at that self proclaimed title?

If one of the Kings is banned, should they lose the title?

I think a poll is in order! The poll should be public with who voted what too! That way we know that the voters are of good reputation.
