Boradriver vs Soundwaves. The match is going to be 8ball race to 7, 9ball race to 9, and 14.1 race to 150 standard bet. This will take place either next friday or saturday. Looser posts results, please.

Awesome to hear! Just updated the lists. Have you guys explored the option of videotaping the match? I've been trying since I was King.

Do to some personal reasons I have to delay are match. I would also like to offer to change the venue to something closer to Soundwaves for the delay.

Wait a minute your practicing? FOUL, no fair this is some kind of setup, I didn't know you are going to go out and start actually trying to win. As a matter of fact it just hit me you have a table in your house in fact a table that when it was in its former location I played and lost to many champions on this is really starting to look bad for good old bora:smile:

OK you make the call, you have offered to come out my way a few times. I have also said I would go to you. I understand 110% what you said about Ultimate so I will offer you this. If you come to Gold Crown I will pay the table time regardless of who wins or looses. If you want to play at Ultimate or even your hall in Manchester thats OK to. You make the call your the king.

As far as US-1, I have a 80% chance of being there at this point. Unless you are going to be there, then you may see how bad I play. I am looking forward to going. I think Railfirst and Pocketspeed are going to Jeremy's to flatten his tires on the way there, giving the rest of us a chance.

Time will tell....

No fear Bora I only use my table at home to practice scratching on the break and folding clothes.

It was great to meet you as well. I am really looking forward to playing in a few weeks. Thanks for the 3c lesson, I think the beer kept my discouragement level down. Pool is all about the angles, but trying to see it 10-20ft farther than normal can be a humbling experience. I encourage everyone to try it!

Well you can crown Boradriver the "Offical King of CT". I would like to say I put up a good fight, but my brief moments of glory where not nearly enough to hold him down. Bora is a great player and a true gentleman.

I had a good time and would like to do it again also. You could see Soundwaves knew what to do but was just not instroke. The sets were alot closer than the scores show. Thankes for the games sir.

congrats boradriver. condolences to soundwaves who sounds like he put a good fight. maybe if enough of tne NE states bother with a king we can go for the king of new england. i was hoping to catch your match but it was just too far away for me. looking forward to catching up the soundwaves at the next east coast pool tour stop (where ever that may be) and maybe meeting boradriver, if youre there.

Sure but the King of CT match will need to be held at Bristol Billiards. The games will be either 9ball or 8ball and 1 pocket or 14.1

Your to far away for me to drive down Crown is about 1hr + ride for me. If we happen to be in the same place at the same time we can play. Go to Yale, Cue and Brew, or US1 which aren't to far from you and you should be able to find a game. I can find out which nights some of the B level players will be there so you can be sure to find a game. If you come to Manchester we can play. If you want to play for King of CT that will have to be done in Manchester.
