i posted this under the official listing thread but no one responded. does anyone know what happened to vette? i haven't seen him post in a while and i can't find his name in the directory:( ? i am creeping up to the two hundred mark slowly but i wanted to challenge:D if he is not king of ga. anymore who is or what has to be done next?

Maybe you and I can meet up sometime, seeing as we're in the same general area. (We met at Big Shots a few weeks ago one Saturday, if you recall)

sucks about vette. i absolutely remember mettin ya. i always remember meeting the cool people, it's the a-holes i try real hard to forget. i might to try to make it out that way for the 8 ball tournament at big shots this saturday - if not that then the nine ball tourney at side pockets sat. night. let me know if you're going to either maybe we'll catch up and play some.

yeah..................i was lookin for a king of az billiards match. not a twenty grand three day beat down. i am well aware of the tallent in my back yard. you might as well throw mr. archer in that mix as his room is where i shoot sometimes. if i was on that level i wouldn't be lookin to do a fifty dollar, bragging rights on a forum challenge match.

yeah - i usually wear nike shorts with a drawstring. diamonds. damn you roll big. i mean i read the money grits thing, but diamond belts to work:grin: so i am a lowly skill level five in the apa and a 7 in bca and i definately don't roll big like you, but in a few more posts i'd love to challange for the crown just for the hell of it. would you be interested in taking a few bucks, keeping your crown and being able to ridicule another pretender to your throne? i live in the north fulton county area but am willing to travel a bit. if you're interested let me know:thumbup: and to all the would be s*it stirers - no i am not even attempting to woof at vette, i am just asking to play:o

I haven't actually played in about 6 months but I'd be willing to meet up at a big tourney or something. I think the Viking tour nationals are coming up at Mr. Cues. Maybe we could meet up there.

cool. sounds good to me. i shoot at cues every sunday in an apa division. even if you haven't played in six months like i said - i am nothin' special. i am one of the few apa members who hasn't sandbagged yet. i have been as high as a 6 in nine ball but dropped back down 'cause i couldn't hang and probobly should be a 6 soon in 8 ball they just haven't moved me yet. i would just be happy to meet another az member. i'll check the dates on the viking stop and we can go from there.

I'm just bumping for an update. Anything ever happen with this? I'm kind of curious because I wouldn't mind challenging the "King." Not trying to stir anything up by any means. This is meant to be as nice as jrt30004's challenge.

nothing ever happened between me and vette, mostly i am guessing because i got busier than sh*t for the hollidays and never contacted him. and it's an open challenge from what i understand so you are definately not stepping on my challenege or anything bad. i say you should do it, i know i don't have time to blink right now.:thumbup:

Thanks jrt30004. And I hope you get some time to be able to play soon! As for 'Vette... I think I met him once in Athens, and, if I'm right, he took quite a few dollars from a friend of mine playing one-pocket. I'd be willing to play.

i'm sure i'm not up tp your speed - same as i told vette - i play apa and bca and just started shooting in some local tournaments. but if you're ever around the pool room in duluth or at cues down on chamblee and want to play a little i'd like to meet another az'er in person. you can't miss me. the tat in avatar is on my right arm and most people know me by evil even though my name is jason

You got a good memory, Vette. It was B.W., and I was the guy with him who was playing Lewis. I haven't heard much out of you in a long time, but, from I remember and hear, you're good action. I wouldn't mind trying to make a game with you.
