Steve was scheduled to do a straight pool exhibition in Madison, WI back in the 1970's. He played Andy Tenant, the collegiate champion. Steve showed up somewhat drunk and Andy didn't like it. I forgot the exact details but Steve still had a run of over 100 balls and ended up beating Andy.
