Thanks...the Jacoby I just picked up about 2 months ago and have played with nothing else since.
The Schon I have had for 12 years and played with nothing else until the Jacoby.
The Olivier I just picked up because I liked the grain in the wood.

I have a Schon that's identical except the veneers and trims are light blue instead of tan like yours. Bought it about 10 years ago from a consignment dealer - don't know anything about history or factory model designation. Do you have any other info on yours?
The 2nd edition Blue Book describes this but with red veneers/trim. I've never seen another one just like it - yours is the closest. Any info you could add would be appreciated.

WALT -
My schon is a model R-14. was made aroun 1982 - 85.
There is a person in Phoenix here that has the same model as I do but it is Red, instead of the Tan - but its the same style as mine is. I would not mind seeing pictures of yours if you have any...Ive only seen the one like mine. Be interesting to see pictures of yours.

God I love the old Schon! Very nice.........You said you picked up Jacoby to play with..they are similar. We got a used one that reminded me of a Schon,The look and the hit......I woulda played with it but who ever ordered it had them make the weight 22 ounces! Little heavy fer my taste!
Show off!
