Are they ready yet? Last I heard I thought he said they wouldn't be on the market til after the first of the year. I've been waiting to see one myself. I want to see if it's easier than my current method, I'd imagine it has to be! lol
just more hot air!

Hey guys, I would love to show pictures, but I will not. Reason is, there are some out there who have no honor, and will copy, or try to copy my brainstroming and work.
I have a great reputation for my products. I build quality stuff. Never had any complaints about my machines as yet. And will not. They are tried and tested many times before they hit the market..Like I said, my stuff works, and works real good.
My leather jig is fairly simple, and tough to build..Not taking any chances.
Got the patten pending going as we speak.
sorry guys, hope I don't PO anyone.
Have 31 on order to date.Still taking new orders..

I have been in those shoes before with something I built for another sport. Took about two months from letting someone who was a major player in the industry test a proto-type until the design was stolen. I did learn to keep my mouth shut. I will be marketing some things for that sport in the next few years but until I have a NC lathe running and am cranking them out in volume I will keep my mouth shut as to what I am making.
I am busy as a three legged dog with fleas right now but I will be talking to you soon. Hope you and your wife have a great new year.

He told me a few weeks ago that they would be ready in Feb, but with the tragedies in his life, who knows! I've been stalling off getting one of the other leather wrap jigs hoping Blud's would be ready soon. I do believe he said that they were being made at a machine shop, not in house, so maybe they won't be delayed long.

The ones I know of are the DeAngelo and Unique Products (I am sure the other folks have the contact info).

I am in the process of making a jig that mounts on my lathes. Template and seam jig should be around $150 when finished. I used the proto type the other day instead of the Angelo and got the same results. It will probably be a few months before I have them ready. It will be set up only for my lathes.

I believe that Mr. Bludworth stated on here that he retired, and his son was taking the cuemaking business over again. He didn't know if he would continue the machine building side or not.
Edit: Here was his announcement: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=79782

i just might build a few more machines on special order, and that's not a FANTICIE, Arnie. Where you came up with that, WHO KNOWS?

You have been talking about it for two years and I don't know of a single person that has ever seen one. Show us a picture or the contact information of a single satisfied customer and I will be a believer.
Guys, after I take a much needed rest, I will complete the leather jig. When Janice was really bad off, I gave up on it and several other projects. Now, I've got other interest, but WILL deliver it when I feel like completeing it. Thanks much for your support and interest.
Arnie, I'll show and tell when I get ready too, not before. I don't need a leader, pal.....I could care less if your a believer or not.....During that time was when Janice was really sick, but as we all see, you don't take that into consideration. It appears that you could care less, Arnie.....

Hey Blud, good to see you post. Merry Christmas!

Hi Blud,
You get to work weekends and take the rest of the weekdays off. I envy you on that. Not saying running a steak house would be easy, but when you are getting this kind of grief from the cuemaking world it must make it awful nice to see those customers enjoying a meal.
Wish I lived close enough to visit once in a while. I like good steaks. Glad to hear Donald is back to making cues. Maybe I will see you in Valley Forge.
Hi Chris,
Yes, Suzanne and I, will be there.
I look forward to visiting with you my friend. I know you have had a tough year. Just do what you can to be happy, and thank God, she's no loner suffering.
Your a credit to man kind as well as our industry, Chris

Glad to hear you will be at the Super Expo this March. Hope that one of your new leather jigs will be there too. All this talk about it is very interesting. What will it cost? Take care and have a great Christmas and happy New Year!

Blud, hows the steak house going?
It's really taking off great. This last week-end was our best yet, the main dining area [3 rooms], will hold 66 folks, and were were packed, and had about 20 folks eating outside, watching the trafic go by. Good week for us. We now have the most popular resturant in 3 counties.
Had some make a good offer, but were havin fun, so we will keep it for a spell. Go to www.leakeyfeedlot.com check it out. be sure and leave a comment if you want, and send them to us, [e-mail leonard and Suzanne] at the bottom of the page and we'll post it on our site.
