Maybe. The beer commercials were very popular. If they do mention it, they might run a piece from one of those and relate it to "math teacher who became a pool champion who made the beer commercials" rather than so many championships and what he did for the game..

Haven't seen SportsCenter tonight, but it was a front page story on espn.com.

It was mentioned towards the end of the Pardon the Interruption show that preceded Sportscenter Monday night.

Tony Kornheiser made a couple of comments about he had seen some of his trick shot exhibitions and was "amazed" at how he could back up the cue ball a full table length. He also said something to the effect that pool isn't really thought of as a sport but is a game of incredible skill.

Naturally, they offered their sympathies and regrets.

Just thought I'd let y'all know.
