M Herndon update/Hollywood

Sarah just thought you and her fans might like to know. Melissa is on the winners side at Hollywood Billiards $5000 added. She won all her matches on Sat. and there are 4 on the winners and 8 on the losers. The field holds some great players like Tang Hoa, Max Eberle, Dave Hemmah, Morro Paez, Ernesto Dominguez, etc. This should put her in stroke for San DIego.

Nice-The ladies are making their mark more and more lately. How is Jenny Lee doing out there? She had a hell of a tournament a while back also.

Well, I hate to report, but I lost 9-7 to max Eberle today. It was a real tight match, and I played poor position on the 9-ball to go hill-hill. I ended up missing the 9 and left it real close to the corner pocket with the cue ball on the opposite end rail. Max made a super-great, really thin cut to win the match. But, I think I played very well in the match against him, and I had my chance to win....but I dogged it.

I had a lot of fun, finished 9th-12th in an Open, and made some new friends at Hollywood Billiards. I know I've said it before, but it bears repeating. What a wonderful pool room. They really treat their customers well!
