Take a peek into The Hole

We just got our webcam up and running in one of our Hour Table rooms. This room usually has the most money action. It has (2) 1922 Brunswicks and 3 Kassons. We are now working on linking all of our video cameras (12 in all) into our webpage where you can select the area of the pool hall you want to look at.

Go to www.theholethang.com and click on PEEK IN THE HOLE to check it out. Oh yeah, this will not be the final position of the camera, it will be mounted higher sometime next week...but this will do for now

Sorry we haven't got the cam moved yet. We are looking into different cameras to find the best frame rate etc. and trying to figure out how to tie our 12 camera security system into our website so you can see all 29,000 sq ft.

But if you look tomorrow evening, you may find the winner of the Houston Open(and the winner of our first large tourney last month) Doug Young playing against legend Shorty LaGrange in a set of 1-pocket matches......I know watching 1-pocket is like watching flies screw......but it should be an incredible match on the double shimmed Brunswick!

I wish more pool halls would setup web cams on the good tables (properly too, i.e. from above)

I think this would bring a lot more business to their halls.

However, is your camera ever going to get repositioned like promised 2 months ago. You need to place one like d@d family billiards. So far this is the best setup I have seen. Trouble is I don't think they are open yet. I have yet to see a player.

Someone emailed me a page of pool room webcams (had maybe 8 links on the page to go to their cams).,,.....please post it again...I need to find out what cam and software a certain one is using so we can stream some up coming matchups @ The Hole
