I just saw Efren miss the 8 ball in one of the last games with Crosby, and then later I understand he misses a 9 ball to lose. He was recently in the hospital with among other things out of control blood sugar. Efren is not Efren, he might be sick or he might finally be getting old. The 8 ball he missed was so ugly it was unreal. Efren is not Efren.

We all know Efren is one of the best. We also know that anyone can miss easy shots even if they are the best. Enough said.

Efren needs to be checking his blood levels. It is known for some "diabetics" to loose some vision when their sugar levels are high.

Come on guys,

We ALL know Efren is GREAT (maybe the greatest). But simply put, he dogged that nine. Did you see how quickly he got off of his cue. He knew the second he hit it, it was bad. And you know what this proves...He is human...Aren't we all. I am sure the WPC will still have plenty magic to witness, and Efren will be swinging the wand (cue).

Being owed half a million dollars probably isn't helping his stress levels. :-(

I think over-zealous fans cause efren more grief than his current health problems. He's said over national newspapers that the constant autograph-signing and picture-taking are taking their toll on his hands and eyes, especially before a game.
