Hi Chady,

BUGS RUCKER, one of the best bank pool and 1p players in the world during the 70's and 80's would often play with a house cue.

I was at a tournement in the 70's. Most of the top players were there. BUGS and his entourage arrived just as the event was ending. He offered to play anyone banks and he would play off the wall. No body got up....their butts must have been super glued to their chairs.:)

Hope Mr. Chen plays well.

Regards, Adam

Alain, aka the "dancing bear" from Canada, was using TWO house cues in the WPC in 2005.

He had a long case for both cues, which he took with him from Canada to Taiwan. I asked him why didn't he buy a nice cue, he said he would if he wins the tournament.:)

Very coloful character, too bad he is not playing this year.

Ribdoner,the guy's last name is Lu, not Chen;
and for everyone, keep an eye on Lu. This guy in Taiwan is known as the master of cueball control and billiards.

He went to my poolhall 6 months ago and had a money game for US$3000.
Thanks god I taped it.

He beat Earl with his house cues too which is even more amazing.

I found a picture of his one piece house cue case, which he used to carry both of his Dufferin house cues.

I thought it was CC Liu who was using the house cue. He was a qualifier winner, and nobody seems to know much about him.

I saw him a couple of weeks ago, he has since switched to the two piece cues. He even has a jumper as well.
