It is confusing when someone post a specific cue review and it has photos - where should it go. We have "Cue Gallery" and "Cue Reviews". Seems like this could go any place and has me bouncing between the two (2) to see cues.

"Cue Reviews" seems specific to one (1) cue.
"Cue Gallery" gets posts with photos of cue cases - which are not cues.

Do cue cases need their own section?

What do you want to discuss about a cue? Do you like the design? What is the hit like? What is the taper of the shaft and how does it compare to other pro tapers?

Define what the new named section should include and I am on board. Not sure what should have gone in this new section from the start.

Bigger than this is do we definitions of what it section includes and more importantly what it does not.

Why would I post about grammar? The cuemaker you seem to dislike isn't hurting for orders, if anything its hard to get him to take one. Dean isn't a cuemaker, he is a salesman. Thats fine and dandy, but his tactics were way over the top. When you are way over the top your going to get flack from people,and usually you want the flack. I believe the main purpose of this forum has nothing to do with the actual buying or selling of any cue, nor is it for displaying pictures of ones "gallery" of cues, but simply for persons that own a certain cue or has recently purchased a new cue can give a detailed review of it for the purpose of spreading information to any potential buyers of a like cue. I hope this is a satisfactory explanation. There is a brief explanation under the title Cue Review on the AZBilliards Forum Main Page.

The typos and grammar problems are probably just a way to make the truly illiterate feel 'at home' doing business with him. Granted, there are probably a few 'normal' people who are intrigued by his idea and figure $300 isn't money flushed, but that's not his target market.

I even got a bad rep from one AZ for commenting on a cue because he is a dealer for that cuemaker.

I, for what it's worth, have to agree with Marcus. I think this is the place for these posts. Personally, I find them to be annoying on the sale/trade post. I like this section. Pick up a lot of good info here. This is where this type of discussion belongs and my vote would be to change the name and use this area more.....:)

Oh, one more thing, on the Nutz issue............

There is a chip in the butt of the Tex cue, but it is so minor, in my mind it isn't an issue, so I didn't bring it up. I am completely satisfied with the cue.... so maybe I don't have any nutz.....
