Best Tips For Less

I could use some help from installers and those who use the UltraSkinLayered Cue Tip.

I have been lucky so far and not run out of any when ordered. With 6 different tips now I don't think I should depend on luck.

With the Derby and SBE coming up I need to prepare for orders and want to concentrate on what the public wants.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I've only used the Soft and have been happy. What is the Pro? And, I assume that the VS is Very Soft.

The PRO is a very unique tip. The feedback from Tip feels medium, the grip and juice is beyond the Very Soft.

I had to vote for the soft tip.
I have been very happy with it thus far but I am very excited to try the "Pro" tip.
I just got my order in of 10 Pro tips and I expect these tips to be awesome.

I heard somewhere that the inspiration for the "Pro" tip came from studying the original Moori tip?

I use Medium!

But, I believe you make the best tip! Switching from HH to Ultra Soft has got to be bad for your game. Pick the type of hardness you prefer and stick with it. Nothing can help your game be more consistent then using the same type tip consistently!

Sincerely,

KD

Amen to that

I'd vote if I knew which one I had. Recently got a Diveney SP and he uses ultraskin tips but not sure which ones. I can say that I'm liking it a lot so far, getting a little mushrooming but it plays great. Seems a killer value.

I've been using the Mediums for the last 6-8 months... BUT I'm now (last 3 weeks) using the PRO and i truly like the PRO better... easier to refresh - scuff- very nice grip/feel/feed back etc. I'd vote this tip style 5 to 1 over the Mediums..

:thumbup:I am a pro and high end cue collocter, also a tester. Im a rep for seyberts, and for 5-6 yrs and im only 28 every time new tip come out dealers get protoypes to have there pros test. So i have played with them all. I am proud to say i play for Mr tom, every tip there is. My buddy ken kerner sent me a cue i was thinking of buy. Huge ivory loaded cantando and first ball i hit i was like holy shit dead slient. Well Mr tom had me test bunch for him, on all diff set ups from 4.5oz shaft for big ivory everthing gina, u name it i tested it. I played with the very soft for almost a year and emailed back and fourth with mr tom. I told him i wanted him to make me the softest tips he could for my own use. My really good freind and use to be Full sponser, but still my JB sponser and back pocket 9-ball world champion. Mike baby face gulyassy, we got to talking about how if we could some how get mr tom, to make the softest tip possbile but built well. Cause before that him and i both only used first gen moori slows, has some.Mike said u think if i send him 2 of the org moori slows,if he could make a better one. He DIDi cant keep them i sold 40 in one night before. They are flat out the best tips ever made. They hold reg chalk like kamui alpha or beta ona kamui black, and u have buddy hall cue ball control. It grabs like the jaws of life, there so good for those of you own here that know me, know i only use the BEST hell i my dialy player a ivory handle lol. Also for the money when i get done kamui gone take a lick ive sold a ton for him already. i even set him up with seyberts cause they knew rite away being tested there tips if i said it was best i ever seen. Its real deal, also to be so soft hold shape very well and has dead slient hit. Im gone put 3-400 up there so good im gone only use them from now on. If any of u have any questions about there up keep or playabilty in detail just post it here ill answer it for you. Thanks Mr Tom i really enjoy being your player and selling your tips cause they sale them selfs ha. Mr tom u need to tell rest story bout the others u had me try and how mike and i got togather and got with u an created the ultimate tip. So if u ever tried one get one u will never shoot with anything else.

I had the VS on and it felt too soft for me. My buddy put on the soft and is sold on it. I had a med on a 30" spare shaft and just put one on my player shaft, but I will try the some of the pro's in the next order, when ever that is..

I have used medium, soft, and very soft. I am putting on a pro tip on Wednesday and I am looking forward to how it plays. :)
