Great looking cue an it is a steal,if it would have had full sized shafts I would have bought it, but cant get the feel for the skinney shafts that so many people like as well as low deflection shafts they dont do anything for me.I prefer a full 13 -13.5m,m shafts on all my cues, good luck with the sale, someone will be very happy with it, Varney makes a great playing cue,an this one has some realy nice BEM. Its allways nice to see a real ly good looking cue.

Don't worry about Kevin seeing this thread, he never comes on AZ...................MUCH---LOL ;)

Beautiful cue, whats the weight ?

Does the butt come with the two shafts?
The top shaft looks like it has a different ferrule.
Both very good shafts.
Wutta steal!

Good eye Joey. The cue was made originally with 3 shafts...one is a 314-2. He is apparently keeping the 314-2. He chopped the pic showing it with only 2 of the 3 shafts. The shaft nearest the cue is the 314-2...hence the different ferrule color. Both the Varney shafts have the excellent Juma ferrules and will look like the other shaft pictured. I hope this explains the difference in the ferrule colors.
Also...way way too cheap. I get 375 for a new sneaky w/1 shaft.

Cuemakers play with reject shafts. The ugly ones with sugar streaks that magically come out on final pass.:D
Oh, we get the woods with bug holes too.

This is so very true. For my personal cue I pick the worst looking wood I have. It gets the darkest ugliest shaft with all the cosmetic blem marks. Of course this wood plays exceptional...like it says "thank you for not trashing me"...and plays better than it should, better than any clean AAA+ wood. I just HATE to waste any excellent performing wood due to cosmetic blemishes. I've even been known to make few unsigned BLEM cues at a discount so as to not have to waste any wood.

Holy cow what a deal!

Soooo tempted..but my wife would kill me! :) LOL Gorgeous cue! Props to Mr. Varney and seller......bump this to the top for awesome deal! - John

The shafts appear longer too.
