.....For your participation in the 3rd Annual Juvenile Diabetes Benefit Pool Tournament held in Jackson, Mi.

Thanks to Corey at Tiger products for the VERY generous donation and givaways. Tiger has a wonderful product line and I recommend them highly.

A special thanks to Shawn for volunteering his time to help out a great cause. You are one fine gentleman, sir. Tiger Products, I'm sure, is happy to have you on board.

More on the tournament to follow.....

Also thanks to Chris Szuter and Justin D. for the laughs. The 3 of you are welcome anytime. ( Just don't eat the squash) I hope you guys had as much fun as Mike and I.

Tell Justin to stay off the BAZOOKA and out of the TREES.

The tournament consisted of 16 teams of 8ball partners. That was pretty good for a summer event.

It was a race to 4 in the winners, race to 3 in the losers and a race to 5 in the finals.

Shawn Putnam and his partner were definitely the ones to watch out for, followed by Szuter and Aquinita. To everyones suprise, Tommy K. and Michelle W. ( The worlds greatest charity tournament directors, who I appreciate more than they know) pulled ahead for the win with Shawn and Co. closely following for a tight 2nd place finish.

I'd love to elaborate more, but after being up from 7:00 in the morning until the finals at 2:00 am the next morning, I had little cognitive skills and less of an attention span. I will get the whole scoop from Tommy K. when we see each other.

I hope everyone that played in the tournament won something. For those who didn't, I hope you received you Tiger Products burnisher and bridge head. If there is anyone I missed, flag me down and I will hook you up. I have a few of the products left.

Also, a big congratulations to the Tiger Cue w/ X-shaft raffle prize winner, Don Brown. A local yokle who was very happy with his win. I think his old stick is for sale LOL!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the teams that entered and played in the tournament. 32 people came and donated their time and money to a cause near and dear to my heart. You guys are the best.

Thanks to the Table sponsors who donated the monies to sponsor a table so that we could keep the entry fee low.

Thanks to all the businesses who donated certificates and services for door prizes. Jackson is a very giving community and it is much appreciated.

Thanks to JTV and the Bart Hawley show for having us on the program Friday, to promote the tournament. (Thanks to Shawn and Chris for going on there with me, I was nervous in case it didn't show.)

And finally, thanks to the Garage Billiards and Bar for being this years host location. That's a fine room that you have there. And thanks to my volunteers that helped with the raffle sales and door prize drawings, Tracey Katie and Kelly. (Also thanks for holding down the Tiger Products table and distributing their information while I played in the tourney.)

If I have forgotten anyone, it's purely accidental and my advance apologies. Thanks again to all.

Michelle
