Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

The Billiard Product Reviews web site now seems to be working correctly now. Let me know if you encounter any issues while checking out the review of the AimRight, etc.

I don't know. I downloaded it several times, but never tried opening it. But ignore that file. The site is having a problem and Steve advises that he's duplicated the problem; doesn't know what it is; and is asking his provider to troubleshoot the problem.

Yeah, I agree the site should work. It used to work. It's not mine and I have no affiliation with the owner of it. So no harm is being done then? Site is just broken for common browsers? I notified Steve Sherman again. When I notified him a month ago, he replied that he'd look into it...

??? really, really bad ??? how so? Is harm being done somehow? I have noted similar problems just recently at his site using microsoft edge (and I notified Steve). But I can bring it up just fine with Firefox (although I'm using a very old version of it). (on Windows 11 PC)

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

For those wondering about the AimRight and if this post is just a nefarious plot by me to increase sales and if it's too pricey compared to alternatives, let me say a few things. I've been selling AimPro Billiards products (AimRight and Cut Angles Challenge 101 computer game) for about 5 years...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

The confusion about what I'm aiming at should be cleared up visually in my next video(s) (I'm currently thinking to separate what I've filmed and have to say in 2 videos, but we'll see). But as a preview, I'll repeat what I've said before, when shooting the AimRight Straight-Cut Drill, I'm...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I'm hearing your request as a skeptical challenge, partly because you don't commit to any payoff if I provide something convincing. Is that what you intended? I've not played for ~10 days because I've been ill. I'll soon restart and once back in the groove, I expect to video some sessions...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

This (Part 2) eliminates cut shot aiming and by design gives some help to minimize 'cut shot' errors like arm swerving). Precision setup allows this idea to work. Without the precision, you will miss the shot until you learn to cheat -- which just means developing more bad habits. And the...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

As I've said numerous times, the AimRight makes it MUCH easier to do the setup, but otherwise is unused for Part 2 -- because Part 2 is not about AIMING. Part 2 is a modification of the CB out and back drill and doesn't require cut angle aiming. And in the last few weeks, I've just had donuts...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I have greatly improved my accuracy in the 5 - 6 weeks since starting down this training path. I can't say what people might think of how my stroke looks now; it likely won't measure up for some. But again, dramatically improved results and RESULTS are my goal. I was able to successively find...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I think you are quite accurate in describing the AimRight product and thanks for your support. I agree that an aiming aid that shows the contact point at the right elevation is ideal. I think the extra value there depends upon the person and their needs.

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I appreciate that it seems confusing. I think partly it's because I'm human and don't do things as I'm supposed to. The swerving on cut shots is partly long habit, but it's also a mechanical thing where I move my body to see/follow the shot result after the CB has been hit (mostly anyways)...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

I agree that finding methods to help solve weaknesses is what we all do; for example: find something to help with speed control or position play, etc. But if you mean for accuracy and shot making, I think we disagree (which is OK); I don't think it's the same. I think what I'm proposing is...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

In part 2 of the method, the FOCUS is on shooting straight and pocketing the ball indicates success. Now, the ball can be pocketed as a result of luck or a combination of stroke flaws that counter each other just right. But that usually won't hold up with both cuts to the left and to the right...

Fast Improvement Training Method for Shot Making

Thanks for your best wishes and your observations; I think it's amazing that despite my best efforts to just be shooting straight, that there's so much bias to somehow swerve the stroke to make the cut. Since the video clips were recorded, I've been changing stance, etc. and really working on a...
