hey now lets drop it,,,,,,,that got ne in trouble with the cue maker as it was my post ill be off to my fishing rod lathe to mess up some ivory ferrules and tips

sure does bite when a cue maker wont reply,,,,,been there

all I asked about were tips,,,,the asswer was a year later I did mention a shaft for a gus a year for tips,,,,,,,,,lol call me when you are in a good mood I might still have the cues,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,bill

honesty has never been an issue owning the cues I expected him to do the repair work on his own cues I build fishing rods and always feel disappointed when I see one of my rods in someone elses shop im the one taking the chance by sending them away I found a local builder I trust to do it...

I guess some cue makers are too good to do repair work

I doubt ill buy another barry szamboti cue

I have had 3 extra shafts made for each of the cues and it didn't take a year even when I have shafts made I do without the butt for some time so that makes 2 of his cues with 4 shafts each I even have one of his dads cues that needs shafts but now im wondering where to find a couple

after buying some cues from a maker is it expected to have basic service ( like tips) done by the maker in a reasonable time ? just wondering cause I now have a couple of high end cues that the maker tells me....................call me back in a year to check if he will have the time

if you buy 3 or more oneil cases you get a price cut,,,,,,,,,,,,,ive got 3 loaded,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you can get 6x6 and 4x8 cases

i understand the use of joint protectors,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,anyone ever come up with a tip protector ?

i had a q that needed a slice and dice job,,,,,,,,,,,,when i saw it the q maker had used maple instead of the original purple heart for a handle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i talked to him and convinced him to use purple heart in order to keep with the integrity of the original...

i found it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,one of the first cues Barry Szamboti made,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks Barry btw thw second cue he made for me plays the same,,,,,,,,super and the Gus i found plays great
