I think his point was after this match fixing/shady characters coming to light shall we expect stereotyping of tennis people in movies the same way we stereotype pool players in them.
Don't know about others, but hill-hill, I felt sick when Cicero hit that 8 ball and hooked himself on the 7 after that show of sportsmanship, was pulling for him to win against Thorpe.

The World Pool-Billiards Association, the top governing body does not recognize an early 10 ball as a win. It is explicit in the rules:
9.8 Continuing Play ... "If a player nominates and legally pockets the ten ball prior to the ten ball being the last remaining ball, the ten ball is re-spotted...
FWIW I thought it should have went to their other shooter, they and my partner thought the player making the push should shoot next. Small money game (we lost to boot), not sore about it, just would like to know general consensus for next time.
