    Tips pros use... Surprise !

I do a similar process to sort the keepers. Well worth the time. I end up with 12-15 out of a box of 50 though. Still cost effective.

What a difference a tip change can make

I hated my becue until I tried a new tip. The stock tip made it feel dead or made my action feel muted. I tried a new tip on a whim after basically giving up on it and it was night/day the difference in play. After that experience I started caring about the tips I chose much more. IMHO the...

New Becue Rebel Red and Case Full Review

I've been worried about them too. The last 24 hours has been the first time the death rate has slowed since it began in Italy.

New Becue Rebel Red and Case Full Review

It's a sound and feel. I use a triangle at the moment. I agree it's like wood but better imho.

The sound my becue makes is one of the things I like the most about it.

Just in! The evil new Becue Rebel Red

This makes me so jealous even though I have a 60" becue... mine is plain and red is my fav. Damn that looks good. I'm a cue whore... so I'll never be happy... but I do think it'd be hard to find a cue that has been engineered better. The feel, balance, sound of the hit, everything about...

    Extensions?? Feedback

I am more comfortable with a 60" cue for most shots too, but I find the length and balance cumbersome for any type of masse, or a shot where I need to jack up the rear for a particular hit. During these shots I wish the cue was a littler shorter. 2 inches doesn't sound like much but I think it...

    pool gloves

I'm a big fan of the black/yellow tiger gloves. Not because of the color though. They are just made really well.

    McDermott H Series Cues

Maybe. I thought I would too.. but then I found the perfect balance point and rather than move it around I wanted to lock it in place so it could never move. I knew I liked a forward weighted cue like Pechauer, so I just adjusted the weights until I achieved the forward balance point at...

Here I was thinking "maybe I could give them another chance?" I guess not.

    McDermott H Series Cues

Great playing system. I wish they would make a shorter extension... I really like the engage butt system..

Getting Rid of Pendulum Stroke. Digicue Loves it.

Triangle Chalk, Tiger glove, Neapolitan icecream. A good pre-shot routine + digicue FTW.

    Cuetec Bowtie Shaper

You can probably use the tool to some efficacy - but I think you'll wear it out pretty quick. I've used a similar tool when I had a lathe and didn't feel confident using a razor to cut. It worked - but took forever and my dime-shaper didn't last very long.

    Oiling cue tip

This thread has gotten pedantic for no good reason. If you have no spirit for experimentation why even jump in the thread and start barking? I mention WD40 because someone who works on cues for a living for a billiards shop told me how he treats his personal playing tips. WD40 is not...
