Draw for show, follow for the dough?

I've generally followed this rule. But in pool, there always exceptions to this rule. Instead of following all the way down table then backup, I would use draw. I really only use draw for short distances and use follow for the rest. To me, follow is much more reliable and easier to visualize...

why everyone should learn one pocket

I've always thought One Pocket is the game that tests ALL of your skills. 1P forces you to really think what to do and what your opponent may do. Very analogous to chess! You think of a "move" and try to determine how your opponent would respond.

Which is more difficult vs the ghost

I've done both and found that 14.1 Challenge is more difficult because more chances for something bad will happen.

Honest question for manual pivot CTE users

This is a better way of doing. But it's not what Stan shows in his videos. He shows sweeping in to the 1/2 offset and then pivoting to CCB. This is the last phase of learning CTE. The Full Circle. You determine your perception, then sweep to the 1/2 tip offset. The while in that position...

Honest question for manual pivot CTE users

I will try this today and formulate a reply. There are times that I've done this and "see the spot" even though I don't look for the spot. I focus on the two lines only. I did the experiment with CB 2 feet from OB in several locations with 15 Inside and Outside. I am able to see the "point...

Honest question for manual pivot CTE users

Is that when you are down already? Wouldn't that mean your elbow will have to move away from your natural stroking line ? Everything is done while addressing the table. It is in my experience never make a decision while you are in your shooting stance. You will miss. Once I've determined the...

Honest question for manual pivot CTE users

What I do is start center to center. Then I slowly move right or left depending upon which side and which perception I will use. I will stop when I see both the center to edge and the proper perception line--then sweep to center cue ball... If I go any further or not enough, I will not see...
