Hypothetical Question - What would you do?

I believe you should always be honest! If you best an opponent in a questionably dishonest manner, did you really win? I personally would rather lose with integrity than win with lack of it! Just my humble opinion, not saying I'm right, just what I feel I should do. Another angle of perception...

    Gambling Scenario - Opinions?

I'd let them handle it, unless they get in an altercation over it in the bar in which case you then would have to get involved. If you side with one then other customers start to choose sides then you end up with a number of customers possibly being upset with you. Just my opinion.

    Taom tip review

Chris, I installed one of your hammerhead break tips on my break cue, for the record, I like it much better than the Zento tip!! I'm getting a better break pattern but the hit feels more pure, for lack of a better word. I also installed a med soft tip on my playing cue and lime it as well. FYI

    Taom tip review

That being said, I believe that there is no - one - perfect tip, everyone's game and style is different. I installed a Zento on my break cue and like it fine but have some of Renfro's tips as well and intend on trying them; I may like them just as well. It's really what works best for the...

    Taom tip review

Unless Joe changed his mind since the "Derby City Classic", he told me himself at the Classic that he thought the "Zento" was the best Jump/Break tip on the market presently.

Opinions from extensive, long term use of any of the new Moori Jewel tips???

Bob, I have a Schon with an OB classic shaft, I installed a Moori Jewel on it ~ 6 or 7 months ago and my experience with it is that it pretty much shoots the same now as it did when I installed it. If it has changed at all it's so subtle that I can't tell the difference. Of all the tips I've...

Who makes the best low deflection shaft?

OB vs Predator The only LD shafts I've tried are the Predator 314, OB1 and OB classic. I personally like the OB Classic and have done away with the 314 all together. I have also changed the tips on all of my playing cues to Kamui, I am using a Kamui black clear SS now but haven't made up my...

    Traveling with Ivory cues

I've traveled several times inside the US from the east coast to Vegas and not once have the airlines ever allowed me to carry my cues on the plane with me so that's probably pretty much out of the question. As far as the legalities of shipping or bringing post ban ivory into the...

I met Steve Mizerak once through Jay Flowers

I'm a little long winded so apologies in advance. There were 9-ball tournaments held in Columbia, SC starting in 1987 and ran for 5 or 6 years or thereabouts called RAKM UP CLASSIC. It was in the late 80's or 1990 don't remember the exact year and I was in the lobby outside the tournament room...

    Cookiesmonster

If anyone knows how to get in touch with Cookiesmonster, she posted a request for information on anyone who might have a cue that they purchased from her father Danny Cook or her grandfather Gordon Christopherson. I haven't been able to get in touch with her but I have a Schon cue I bought from...
