    Computer expert needed!

Also... to make you feel a bit better... we've all done this, but it's good to remember that it's MUCH easier to reproduce it the second time around! :D You've trained your brain to tell your story the way you wanted to tell it, and that was the hard part when you first wrote it. Second time...

    Computer expert needed!

Also, if you know the directory where you normally save your files, open it with Windows Explorer (not the web browser, but the file manager). I'm not sure which version of Windows you're running, but possibly, if you go into Windows Explorer, you could try this: 1) Navigate to the folder...

    Funny pic/gif thread...

There's a setting in your control panel that let's you specify how many posts you see per page - I also maxed it out so it's 188 for me as well. Go here: http://forums.azbilliards.com/profile.php?do=editoptions A little more than halfway down under "Thread Display Options" you can increase...

    SBE thoughts, thanks ,and WTF's

That is impressive! Great event, as always. Hats off to the folks who ran the juniors tourneys - the players' meeting was spot on with regard to player and especially parent behavior. Me and my son had a great time - and we got to watch the winner's side of the pro matches for an hour or so...

SuperBilliards Expo - I have questions!

Been there twice, bought a cue last time. 1) Plenty of demo tables available for try before you buy. 2) Not sure if they're there but if they are they'll be approachable - the whole expo is all very accessible As I recall a pass is needed for all access -- worth it! It's a fun event to go...

    Pea Pool (Kelly Pool)

The rules you describe seem to be the standard. I have about 10 people. We'll play in groups of 5, winner takes all. The winner of each group gets the table for head to head match of 8, 9, or 10 ball at their own stakes. Then we do it all again. I like the re-ante idea, but don't want...

    Pea Pool (Kelly Pool)

I'm surprised at how hard it is to find a good, common set of rules for Kelly Pool. After much research, here are the rules I've decided on, we'll see how it goes!

    Pea Pool (Kelly Pool)

I just read that the 16 could be assigned to the cue ball. If you have the 16, you just have to sink the cue ball to win -- but after hitting the lowest ball on the table first. If you miss, and others realize you have the 16, they'll scratch for you, after low-ball contact (in which case...

    Seeking advice - 9 or 10 players

Larry, that's the trick, thanks. Not gonna do a tournament as we usually do. Instead, we'll do it like this: group 1: 5 players max. Kelly pool, $3 each, winner takes all. Group 2: same. May add a loser or two from group 1 to round out the group. 3rd game - winner from each group squares...
