Just curious, has anyone ever played with a foam wrap? You know the the stuff you see on fishing rods. I was thinking if they supply a good grip in wet conditions like the lake then they should supply good grip for us in pool. I know it may not look very good but then again I have heard of cork...

How is this 59 inches? What is the break down? Is the butt 30 inches?

I have a buddy looking for some small pieces of wood. Only needs to be 1/2 in diameter. But needs to be around 13 inches long. Could anyone recommend a dealer? This wood will be for handles on fishing rods. Thanks all

Does not need to be straight, just need 13 inches long. Don't care about the pin as these would be cut up.

If you are on the fence I would recommend you take the money and get some lessons. Then talk to your coach about this as well as about your weakness. You will better off in the long run.

I am looking for some broken and beat up useless butts. Only want the butts. Keep the shafts. Pins don't matter. Plan on cutting them up.

Okay so you say the claissc is solid. To me they felt rubbery...ish Do you anticipate the new plus shafts will fell the same as the classic or not?

Scott or Royce, Can you say if these will or will not be cored and filled like the classic shafts? If so what are you going to use for the filler? Just my .02 but I found the classic to have a rubbery feel if that makes sense. I think we (all the pool nuts) are excited to try this shaft out...

I currently shoot with a Schon wrapless. Always looking to upgrade and try new cues... Anyone recommend a different builder for my next wrapless.
