Anyone's cue wrap starting to fray because of rubbing?

I use a piece of wax paper on the wraps of my cues. The wax keeps things smooth.

    A Cue Case Observation

From what I can see, the Talisman Tribal cases use stitching, rather than rivets and I like that.

    A Cue Case Observation

No there was no trickery going on. I knew it was not a leather case. I knew is was some kind of vinyl and it is a nice case. The material reminds me of a product called Naugahyde that was used in car interiors during the sixties, before the cheaper vinyl was substituted. I am simply saying...

What do you think of Talisman cases as opposed to Instroke?

    A Cue Case Observation

The Mezz case is nice and I am using it. It just galls me plastic cases are so expensive.

    A Cue Case Observation

I had been shopping for a nice leather cue case for my new Mezz cue. I wanted a nice, plain leather case, but couldn't really find what I was looking for at a price I could afford. So, I bought a 2X4 Mezz case for over $250 and the case is made of plastic. It's a nice case as plastic cases go...

    Mezz vs Lucasi

I've never played with a Lucasi, but I cannot say enough about the playability of my Mezz. It is an AXi 607 with Wavy joint and WX700 shaft. Great feedback and a soft hit that matches my playing style.

    Mezz EC-7 WMP

AXi 607 I bought the AXi 607 a couple weeks ago and I love it. It's perfect for me. Yesterday, I ordered a second shaft for it... this one in 30 inch length. Great cues.

Higher end Production Cues have No Value

My first two custom cues were from Herman Rambow and they played great. Idiot that I was, I sold them when times were tough. (Should have sold some little used bodily organ.) I just resumed played pool after a long absence and bought an $800 Mezz AXi 607. I really, really like this cue. It...

    Mezz, Schon, other?

Complete Satisfaction I like it very much. I am transitioning from a 50 year old, 22 ounce Titlest conversion with solid maple shafts. The Mezz came with the softer hitting Wavy joint and the WX700 shaft. It seems a great combination and it just works for me. I have a couple Predators with...

    Talisman vs. Instroke

Thanks for your input JB, but I'm looking for a leather case.

    Talisman vs. Instroke

Guys, I'm in the market for a new leather case for a new Mezz cue. I'm leaning toward the Talisman Tribal, but thought I'd ask your opinions before pushing the button. Thanks for your input.

    Mezz, Schon, other?

It turned out the cue I pictured above was out-of-stock. I ended up getting the AXi 607, which is a little fancier than I'd like but a great playing cue.

    Irish Linen Cleaning

Thanks guys. I think I'll have it replaced with leather. I always liked the look of the old Brunswick Titleist with leather wrap.

    Irish Linen Cleaning

I have the original Irish linen wrap on my 50 year old Titleist conversion. It's no longer white. How can it be cleaned? Or, should I just replace it? Thanks in advance.
