A brief synopsis of the history of pool.
Cave man Larry was different than most of his neighbors, he was very coordinated and had an abstract way of thinking, any of these abilities his neighbors had, were at a much reduced rate. So he built a pool table and he started playing on it every day and became a fantastic player, he almost never missed.
Then his neighbors worthless, living at home at age 45, son Dimebag Donny, who had no skill at all except taking things that did not belong to him, set up exhibitions for Larry, {he always made sure Larry had no idea how much money was involved ,so Larry got about 10% , for his end} then Donny started renting the table to people when Larry was not around, and messing with his wife when he sent him to an out of town spot, and generally being a turd, Then a young cave kid started hanging around, watching Larrys every move. The kid had more natural ability than Larry and finally one day Dime Bag Donny knows he is ready, and backs him against Larry and they win Larrys house and wagon and a bunch of other stuff he had accumulated and now Cave Kid and Donny are partners. Of course Donny gave him a bad count, but the kid snuck into his place one night, after he found Donny a cheap Floosie and stole his bankroll. Larrys busted and leaves town a broken man. What Dime Bag Donny didn't realize was that Cave Kid had also been eyeballing every move he made too!, The Kid was even more treacherous than him. So the Kid starts teaching another young guy every time Donny is not around ,who has great promise at the game and then, when he is ready, Kid slips him into Donnys circle of "friends "on the down low, and Donny thinks he will use new kid, and play the Larry gaff again, .and sets up the Kid to play him for all the dough. But, Kid has told new kid all about Donnys shortcomings but leaves out the part where he is a snake too. } He and new kid dump Dimebag Donny , who is now long in the tooth ,moving slow and sees the writing on the wall for the future and swallows a handfull of cya laters and heads for Valhalla. When it's time to chop it up, .Cave Kid puts a leftover bag of Dannys dope in New kids car, and when New Kid goes to get cigarettes Cave Kid calls the cops with an anonymous tip, New Kid had just bought a pistol for protection against Cave kid, because he realized he was a criminal psychopath, he is not familiar with weapons and the gun falls out of the car when they pull him over and discharges { yeah it was a Glock} so he goes down for the long count , and Cave Kid is now recognized as one of the greatest players who ever lived , The End.
