    Can anyone explain to me why some of the top players play with the "mushroom" shaped tip on their cue? It looks like a regular 9 to 9.5mm brass ferrule, but the tip looks considerably larger. Also, how do they get it to mushroom like that? Thanking you in advance, Wolf
