    Have you tried using a nut and locknut plus heat,this would give you the hex nut to apply a wrench instead of any thing soft.

    Diamond tables don't seem that great.

    When my friends and I play on any of the diamond tables in our local room,we are happy to get to play on such nice pool tables.Sounds like some people have never played on or with really crappy equipment.:grin-square:
