The blank is from 1956. The joint is solid ivory with a radial pin
Purple heart collars have two layers of brass with an ivory core.
Four vibrant veneers. Not faded a bit.
REAL MOP. There is a huge difference.
Wrap is purple lizard.
1 1/2" solid ivory butt cap.

Just a little more info on the cue. It weighs 19.2 oz. The nothced diamonds are cleanly inlaid. They are not swimming in a pool of epoxy. The MOP is real. Not plastic. You can see the difference. Everything white on the cue is ivory except for the joint caps. The purpleheart not only looks good but makes the hit very lively.

be one of the best looking cues I have ever seen in my life .Its got
just enough of everything and not too much of anything else .:D

Tommy, the cue is lovely, and I remember when you got it...as I had lusted after this one for quite a while, but could ill-afford it. Thank the Lord that you were able to get it back before the sale had 'followed' through!! Whew! Someone was definitely watching out for you!! :D

It really is a crying shame that anymore, one needs to do a background check before consumating what should be a nice, smooth transaction. It may be worth going with an escrow service with the next sale...$4300 is nothing to sneeze at!!
