If anyone has an original non-inlayed Schuler for sale or a Dieckman they will part with, please pm me. Not looking for a fancy one, just nice woods, prefer wrapless. Thanks.

There alway a Schuler or two on Ebay. Ask Dieckman if he got any Road Trip or Gas Money Cue available. But don't tell him "The Mole" told you. PM Drawman623 also, he might have either or both for sale.

I've tried to reach Dennis with no luck so far. The Schuler's I usually see on the bay are the SLC or SC model's. Do you know the best time to reach Dieckman? Thanks

Chenz, Bet time for Dieckman after 12pm, I'm usually lucky around 3 pm to 4pm. He usually check email on Monday, also you might leave a PM as he also an AZ's Member Magik Wandzzzz.

You could always try a Crown Cue! Most of them are wrapless. Check out the link in my signature.

Great looking cues! i'm always tempted to pick one up to play pool with.

I had Ron Build a pool shaft for mine. The wooden joint hits pool balls excellent and provides a great amount of feedback for control. Like i said before you can't go wrong with a Kilby.

Does this mean Gene [Crown Cue] is building Carom / 3 Cushion Billiard Cue? What are his Spec? I know Crown Cue build a Nicezz Wrapless Pool Cue and Masse Cue.

He said to ask you how many orders you think he'd get, if he made them...?? And, what specs would be most requested??

That be a question you should ask Dieckman.

Dieckman Coin Cue

Here is my first Dieckman cue. I love the cue and the way it plays. Dieckman sold it to me at the US 3C Nationals in Kentucky.

It is a "coin" cue because of the Indian head penny, struck 100 years before the cue was made, that Dieckman inlayed into the butt section. It has a few other interesting distinctions. The entire cue is a single piece of Michigan birdseye. No wrap section piece. The cue also has the Native American figure Cocopelle (a frequent distinction to many Dieckman cues) and a purple heart butterfly on the opposite side.

National champion Sonny Cho tried the cue and ran a six before returning it with high compliments about Dieckman playability. The shafts were custom tapered to the specs of Eddy Robin. He is a former national champion and writer of the well known book Position Play in 3 Cushion Billiards.

I'll sell the cue with both shafts for $850 delivered or with one shaft for $650. Good luck finding a Dieckman at all...let alone one for less. But if you fancy a humble design, this cue is a superb value. It iz a Majik Wandzz

Those are beautiful cues, you guys.

And, Bob, here's your explanation. Listen/Read closely...

Gene and I have discussed him making carom cues for a good while and you have usually been a part of the reason for the conversation. So, the time has been coming that he will make carom cues.

Usually, when I visit the forum, I reach up to the "New Posts" tab and click on that. Then, I hold my mouse over the thread titles that look interesting to me, totally ignoring or forgetting about the forum titles in the far right column.

So, I found this thread asking about wrapless cues and, since Gene makes wrapless cues... I never saw the forum title was "Carom Billiards."

But, I will tell you that this carom forum incident has shoved him much closer to building carom cues. So, if any of you are interested in having Gene make carom cues, give him a shout and tell him his wife said to let him know you're interested. He said, if he gets enough interest, he will seriously consider it.

I believe Gene could make a Fine Carom Cue. The question would be steel or wooden pin/joint. Taper of shaft and dia. of butt?
I would say design a carom shaft taper for his present Player Cue. Notice the Carom Cue ProfessorQBall sell.?? The weight and stiffness he got.
Estimate 12 cues a year [1st]

You could donate a cue to Paul Frankel [ProfessorQball] to help monetary in promoting 3Cushion. Yes even the USBA Tour if near Broken Arrow,OK.

That is our crown (slightly taller than the normal version), but that is NOT a Crown Cue. All Crown Cues have at least one crown on them and that is the crown, but not our cue. The multi-layer crown is also something you would expect to see on one of our cues. In fact, I own one with a multi-layer crown.

Moving on...

I'm thinking out loud, so bear with me... Remember... I'm not the cuemaker.

Gene currently uses a 3/8-10 stainless pin into wood threads. Would this be acceptable, or would he have to change over to a wood pin, also? He could do that, or even use an aluminum pin, but it would probably be easier to stick with what he is used to. He does not use metal collars at the joint, so that is a plus, right?
