Well, I myself can not be of direct help as I live 10k miles away from Sin City across the pond and further to east :) I just wanted to say that, Gabriels is a 90 yr old company out of Holland, and their tables are the most preferred tables in pro tournaments, ahead of Verhoeven or other brands. However, their tables I must say, are expensive. Good tables are not cheap :)
Alternatively, I can suggest Platin tables out of Turkey, if you are looking for a way more reasonably priced alternative. Platin tables are very popular in this side of the world. 40 year old company. They are used in tournaments, currently at World Cup in Egypt, in March at World Cup in Antalya, Turkey, and also at the most nat'l tournaments in Sweden, the ones that I know of. IF I still lived in US and wanted to open a carom hall (although this would probably be one of the last business opportunities that I would think of, since carom community is unfortunately very small in US) I would buy new or 2nd hand tables from the cheaper (in comparison to Euro currency Euro market) Turkish market and get them shipped to the nearest US port in a container. It would be way cheaper than buying tables straight from US market, and the tables would be equally or more quality than the local ones. Just my 2 cents. :)

I suggest that you contact Paul Frankel. His login here is ProfessorQBall and his email is professorqball@comcast.net He is organizing the US Nationals which will be in May in Las Vegas and presumably will be using the same tables as the WC. He is the Gabriels rep in the US. See http://professorqball.com/?p=665 for his phone number.

I suggest you just contact Gabriels or Verhoeven.
Maybe you're more helped by Verhoeven because they are at this point targetting at the USA for more marketing... ( What i've heard... anyway )

Here is what I know. A decision has not been made on the table manufacturer. Verhoeven, Chevillotte, and Gabriel are being considered along with Hermelin.

I won't comment on which is better. They are all excellent tables. I happen to be a Verhoeven dealer.

Verhoeven would be happy to work out a special deal if in fact they are chosen. If you have any questions please pm me.

Where is your room that has 10 3C tables?

Therese

If Verhoeven is targeting the US market they might want to consider making it a little easier to find their web site. Maybe throw in a couple of key search words like Billiards along with Biljarts.

Diamond's new 9ft ProAm straight rail billiards tables.

Sold the first one...table serial number 0001 along with 9 ProAm 9ft pocket tables....will be delivering them mid January;)....told you all they'd be out soon:D....next up....Diamond's new 10 3C ProAm....late next summer;)...sure to surprise everyone that's for sure;)

Glen,

Is the new Diamond 10 ft carom table going to be heated? Have two inch slate? Step cushions? Inquiring minds want to know. Sure would be great to have an American made carom table to compete with the European models.

Not to mention dealing with all the shipping costs.

All of the above buddy...including a slate heating system never before seen in a heated billiards table which guarantee's a 100% heated slate, rails, and table body:D....as well as a leveling system that allows the slates to be tuned up for level without taking anything apart on the table:D....AND...6 legs;)

Everyone,

Thank you all for providing the info. We will make the contact when we're ready. 3C is growing here in southern CA. Nice weather, beautiful beaches, disneyland attractions, and pretty women walking the streets.
Such a awesome place to play the game of three cushion.

Thanks again.

I'm happy to hear more American carom built tables are replicating the European tables. Please don't forget Olhausen. They have heated 2"slate with artemis p37 rubber, supports the USBA each year by running a tounament and has a large selection of models to choose from.

I'm not interested in designing a competing 3C table....I'm more interested in creating a 3C table that is the ultimate in it's class playability wise. I've seen all the slate heating systems out there...and one would think that someone would have come up with something a little better than what is in use today....so, I think everyone's in for a bit of a shock when they see what I'm coming out with....through my involvement with Diamond. I'm also not interested in building different looking 10' 3C models....as just one will do;)...like I said...Diamond's 9ft ProAm 3C table will be available next month.......so, one market at a time;)...it'll also be available in an 8ft model as well;)

Again, I think it is great that another U.S.manufacturer is coming forward to make a 3C table to replicate the European table.

I also think it is great that you think you can build a better mouse trap. I wish you and the Diamond carom table only the best.

I'm pretty good at building mouse traps...you should see what I can do with a pool table:D....thank you sir:grin:

That's exciting. What is the anticipated price point on the 10 footer?
