Stolen Tim Scruggs cue

I sold this cue on eBay last week and sent it to the Buyer in Pleasant Hill Iowa. My Mail Center did not check the box, "Signature Required," even though I had specified I required one. The cue was delivered to the address, but the Buyer says he did not receive it and has checked with neighbors, etc. I'm hoping whoever stole the cue will try to sell it, pawn it, or play with it. I'm including a link to the eBay site, where pics are available. I'm hoping that if anyone in the Pleasant Hill/Des Moines area sees it, someone will contact me and let me know. I filed a report with the local Police, who have told me to contact them if/when I hear something.

Thanks in advance.

You should post this in the Des Moines thread.

Edit:
Nevermind. I posted a link to this thread in there.

If you sent it USPS and insured it for over $200, a signature is automatically required upon delivery.

Welcome to the forum.
Too bad it is not under better circumstances but the cue should turn up somewhere.

I have a friend in Iowa that collects cues, and is in to Scruggs cues, so I will contact him.

Hope everything works out.

I have had USPS and Fed-ex deliver cues to the wrong house.
Both times it took almost a week to turn up .

Thanks for your reply. I waited a week to post the message so the buyer could check with all the neighbors. He told me yesterday that he had, and no luck. The good news is, it turned up. A neighbor was out of town and was having a friend get his mail for him. It was delivered to his house and the friend didn't realize it was another neighbors mail. He called today to say he had it and buyer called me.
Thanks again!!!

Congrats! Getting harder and harder to find honest people these days.

Welcome to the forum and looking forward to your future posts. Sounds like you have good taste in cues!
