I really like this post....except for one thing...

You've made a few good posts in the past also.....
....so when I tell someone in a pool hall to check it out on AZ......
...HOW THE HELL DO I PRONOUNCE YOUR AZ NAME?????????

is there anybody that can say scsuxci? :yikes:
That's funny, cause I really have no idea how to say it either. My girlfriend set up my account and put in her
account name that she uses on other sites.
I would love to change it to something else or just tweak it a bit, but don't want to
lose my itraders. Is there a way to change it?
I forgot to say,Im only 42 and my name is Scott from Canada-stan.

I can't imagine caring what you (or anyone else) puts on your signature line.....it has absolutely no effect on anything...if I want to click on it I will, if not I won't.

Of course the reasons people are objecting to my signature line is becoming more and more apparent. It suddenly dawned on me why it's such a big deal to "some" people.

The key to improving in pool or anything else is not being distracted. It reminds me of the story when a young boy wanted to be the best pool player in the world:

....he researched and found a Master Instructor to learn from and called on him.

The Master agreed to meet, and the boy said "Master, I want to be the Best Pool Player in the whole world, how long will it take me?" The Master said 10 years, the boy, troubled, said "what if I practice more than any of your students, how long will it take?"

The Master said 20 years, even more disturbed the boy ask "what if I practice day and night to be the best, how long will it take?" The Master said "30 years," the disappointed boy said "how come when I say I will practice and work harder, you say it will take longer?"

The Master took a sip of his tea and said "the reason is simple young man, with one eye on your destination you only have one eye to achieve your
goal - to be the best we must focus both eyes {our full attention} on "how," and the outcome will happen when the time is now.

Confucious say...

The annoyingly 'clever' and lengthy anecdotes are the teacher.

Or a young one, born in 1991?

There we have it. A 23 year-old Italian computer geek named Stan, who feels apologetic about it for some unknown reason.

Now if CJ can "just" open his eyes to the major "thread" derailment we're "attempting" here and resist "swooping" in here with yet "another" advertis... er, I mean another "post", he would "real eyez" that this "nasty" thread will die on it's own.

What's the line on that happening, though? 7.8 million to 1, perhaps?

Sorry, don't remember any of that. When was all this? 13 years ago. You are using stuff we said to each other - supposedly - 13 years ago to "win" an argument now where you want to portray yourself as Mr. Polite and me as Mr. Uncivil.

Gee you're worse than a woman who holds onto things forever. Let's see you met me at DCC in 2003 I believe and we shared a drink and maybe even shook hands. We buried the hatchet at that point until you resurrected it in 2010.

As for crawfishing, I have never backed out of playing you EVER. Aside from that DCC encounter you saw me two other times and both times you didn't utter a peep about us playing. You could have spoken up any of those times and offered to play some but you didn't. So don't act like I have been ducking you Lou. I never have and never will.

As for holding the money, as I have told you several times, I am in Oklahoma City and you are more than welcome to come here and play me for $1000 per game every day of the week. The only stipulation is that before you come you have to post the rest of the $10,000 stake with Mike Page so that after I whip your ass here you can't back out in March without losing the whole $10k.

Again though, why would anyone in the world be angry enough with such a peach of a person as you to be inspired to send you angry emails or want to punch you in person?

lol, a little passive-aggressive, John?

I will not be playing you here, Oklahoma, Louisville, Vegas, or anywhere else, so don't bother asking.

We have a date in NJ. See you March 18th, 4pm. Be there, aloha.

Christ, CJ, you take one of the greatest martial arts stories of all time and bastardize it into meaning something it was never meant to mean and act like its your own pool story?

Good grief.

In the original tale, the son of a famous Japanese swordsman sets out to prove his worth to his father by learning from the greatest swordsman in the land. This very famous story is the source of the modern day story, "The Karate Kid". In the original story, the student is anything but "undistracted" as he attempts to perform the menial tasks assigned to him while the master is free to sneak up and attack him with a stick at an time or place.

Here's one version of the original story for anyone interested in this Confucius-say kinda stuff:

If anyone knows the history of why I started posting on AZ they would know the answer.

I've stated it many times and I guess no one noticed.

CJ, has it occurred to you that a few of us have failed to read every last word of your 6200+ very verbose posts in the last 14 months? Do you read all of mine? After all, I've barely broken the 1000 post mark.

I refer to my earlier post:

Not at all. Just that when you politely lie and say I backed out of playing you then you need to be reminded that this never happened and that I am ready to play you any time.

Just last night I had a conversation with a very good player who knows you well. The words he used to describe your personality were not polite at all. Seems quite odd that a player who I know is respected and liked by everyone I talk to would have nothing nice to say about you?

Must have been your polite demeanor at the table that set him off.

See you in March is right. We are looking forward to it. Please wear your one pocket.org sponsor patch so that it will be even more meaningful when I win.

If you're going to dodge a ball you're going to have to dodge a wrench first.

Yes. Match 18th, 4pm, Sandcastle, NJ. I'm told it will be streamed from the Accu-Stats arena for free.

Oh really? And you are scared to come here and get the money? That is great to hear. I mean I am trying to really trap myself by offering to post up the whole 10k for march right now if you will come and play 1k a game. That you are scared to do that after getting intel on how bad I play speaks volumes.

I would have told you and everyone else about my road to the big match but a few people had to spoil it.

I am training with James Walden and several other good players. Might head down to Dallas and get some CJ instruction as well so he can be in when the credits roll.

Who said anything about one pocket instruction from CJ? He has a lot more to teach than that.

One thing is 100% clear though.

YOU don't want to play CJ one pocket for any amount. I will stake him to play you the same race to nine for $50,000 and you only have to put up $30,000. Will your backers go for that?

After all you DID take two games off Efren once. Should be a cakewalk for you to beat CJ Wiley in one pocket. He only probably needs 3 hours instead of 3 weeks to get ready for you.
