To have a butterfly pointed cue made with my own design and specs, I wanted to get some cue maker recommendations.......What cue maker would best match the following criteria : Nice, honest guy/good to work with - Experienced and does excellent work with butterfly points - Has excellent wood - Is somewhat reasonably priced and doesn't have a super long wait time to get the cue made.

Thanks, Ghost

Manzino, Fanelli, Drexler (PFD) to name a few. None of them are inexpensive, however. I am sure there are a lot more cuemakers out there who can do what you are asking, but these are 3 that I have personal knowledge of making some sweet, sweet butterfly cues.

Andy Gilbert does a forearm with butterfly and normal points that is awesome! He meets all of the other criteria also.

Good Luck!

KrbSailing has one for sale

Only because he bought 3 or 4 Rauenzahns lately with a stainless steel half joint and one or two shafts under $1,000!!. Bill Web and Paul Drexler are masters of butterfly cues if you waant something new!

3.]Has excellent wood.
4.] Reasonably price and wait list ???? what do you consider along wait time!

Judd Fuller will make you one. And you can bet it will be a player.

Miltonio's work is second to none, if he is still making cues, heard he stopped.

he still looked to be making cues when i saw him. a friend of mine bought a great looking one. played lights out too. that was about 5 or 6 months ago. he was a real class act.

Actually Dave Barenbrugge's butterfly design work is unique and truly second to none PLUS ............

His cues play as good as they look!

I've had the opportunity to play with several Barenbrugge cues and their appeal for me is their hit and the way they play and not necessarily the design.
