Maybe a bit of hyperbole here. But what are your favorite pool nicknames?

What will be different is that I will add and occasionally alphabetize the names on Page 1 so you don't have to go through the thread to find them.

Anything goes...The Good, The Bad, The Great and the Small...etc.

I'll break... :)

Most of these happen to be vintage 70's from my formative years in Madtown

It's easier to give the worst ones

1 Any nicknaame with the word OYSTER in it.

2. Any of the standard ones that go with "The name' no matter what e.g 'The Pearl'. 'Fast' Edddie. Any 'The Kid' Mark the S.., Ill think of the other one later.

International Sal- He got the name for being arrested and charged with being the head of an International Credit Card Counterfeiting Ring.

Standard stuff for the most part on the remainder George the Greek, White Plains Charlie, The Hat, Slim, Gravy, Mt Vernon Tommy, The Deli-Man.

Always got a kick out of Jimmy Mataya's "Pretty Boy Floyd".

I alsways got a kick out of Cornbread Red!!

Tennesee Tarzan was catchy and wppropriate, but I also knew the Mike never liked this one.

We had one in Denver. A kid named Joe and we dubbed him Road Joe one nnight, but he insisted on Gravel Road Joe.

An old road player out of Mississippi was Lou Berry. He ate so many pills that his tounge was constantly darting in and out of his mouth. We called him Lizard Lou. He really enjoyed that.

Gabby is now deceased. He became a guest of the state and got beaten to death.

Ya gotta love 'Rags'. How many times do you think he stuck his opponents up on the end rail to earn that one?!

Great Nicks

the only one I this is a great nick is " Johnny Pockets" a local here. It was great when some people thought it was his real last name.

Voodoo Daddy

One Pocket 101
The coolest nickname

No one posted it yet?

"Lotsa Poppa", was a decent back room one pocket player and had a great singing voice. He was a large black dude and I NEVER saw him without a jogging suit on, LOL!
