Memory lane 1994

This Ebony, Ivory, Abalone and Silver Cue was the first multi-thousand dollar cue that we ever built. It turned more heads at the 1994 BCA trade show than just about anything there. Since then I have seen the Silver Lace in alot of other cuemakers cues, but it was only one of three on the floor that had the Silver lace in in them and we brought them all. I thought I was like the guy on the front of the Titanic ship when that cue sold.

kevins butterfly completed

here's the cue where the colorblindness got me
on forearm is a purple veneer
butt is dark blue
whole bunch of people saw this cue and never noticed it
i guess they are colorblind too!!!!!
anyways, kevin thought it gave the cue a story behind it and wanted it
i was prepared to just keep it for myself and call it a "a learning experience"
from here on out, i wil have someone that IS NOT colorblind to help with my veneer colors
and yes, my mom still has to dress me!!!!!
can't begin to tell you how many times i went to school with different colored socks on
solved that problem, NO SOCKS
