anyone knows where its gonna be this year ?

WPC 08 will be in the Philippines ones more.

I'm pretty sure Bandido will fill us in soon on the details.
 
I plan on being there as well- I need dates asap so I can arrange a ticket with my air miles.:smile:

I will probably come for the early rounds as I won't be able to stay for the entire tourney (will most likely be there three nights)- I want to make sure I get to see as many of the top players as possible (win or lose) in case they get knocked out in the first couple of days.:thumbup:
 
I'll be in Asia in October and early November. I'll try to make it again if the dates work for me. I like the first 4 days, when everybody is playing.

Brian, maybe we could go together from Bangkok?

That would work for me- hopefully we'll have real dates soon to make solid plans.

I'm going to be pretty busy in September (my business partner will be away for most of the month) but I'll have a lot of time to use up the rest of the year.:cool:
 
This is crazy-Its only 2-3 months away. I have a bg credit with United AIrlines that i have to use on a big ticket by 12/5.

Lets hear some educated guesses please.

Could the Philipines be out now because of the power struggle story over there ?

Im really hoping for Cardiff next year-This year I know its out of the question.

I'm in the same boat- I've got miles on Thai Airways that expire at the end of the year- I want to start making plans.:confused:
 
3 months to go... and still, at this point wherein both camps (bscp-raya/bmpap) remain hard on their stand...we'll probably miss WPC-08 :sorry:

I think it is the best tournament of the year. I had a blast last year in Manila, and was looking forward to going back this year.
