That is going to suck for the hundreds of people on that 9 year waiting list looking to make a quick buck.

I think it is just bad timing for this cue. There is someone here selling a southwest from Singapore also in another thread. About the same price but with ebony forearm.

Not a Jerry Franklin though. But then again how many people actually buy a SW to play with this days? Maybe it is not the price coming down but it has been inflated for the past few years.

Former world champion Wu uses a Jerry Franklin SW. An Ebony on Ebony one. Maybe there is something magical in those Jerry Franklin SW.

Do you mean that SW prices will be increasing for those waiting to get their cues built soon?

If SW price increases, it will definitely make those made by JF be much more expensive though... JF cues are definitley better hitting and you cant possible ask him to make one now:D ... that explains the extra dough for it...

Not only new orders, Mason. Laurie told me a couple of days ago that I will have to pay market price for the cues I ordered 5 years ago. She did say that I had the right to cancel if I wanted to.
Joe

I would cancel

Why buy a cue as a dealer under terms that are changed after your initial order? Many cue makers have done this and found out that although cues don't eat you can't eat them.
This is only what I would do and not intended to be advice of any kind.
Good Luck to all
Especially Laura
Nick :)

Joe

That's bad business

The way I see it, this cue is priced right.
Five shafts, aren't they $300 new?
This cue is a player, IMO this cue is an arsenal.
Those 11.5 shafts have me drooling.
I bet it plays like butta.
