Simonis Chartreuse

Has anybody ever seen Simonis cloth in the chartreuse color? From looking at the colors on their website it looks like it might be sort of a bright yellowish green. I was looking for something bright to put on my Gold Crown IV and just thought i would ask what everone thinks about chartreuse.

You could make a worse choice, but IMO that is a no-no.

I think there is a reason you haven't seen it on a table yet...
 
Green, Blue, or a Dark Red would probably be easier on your eyes, especially if you play for long hours. Its probably easier to find matching chalk for those colors too.
 
Well, like i said, i would like to have a bright color. Simonis green is just too dark. The Powder Blue isnt very bright, and to me the Tournament Blue isnt near as bright as what it is when its under the TV lights on ESPN.

I doubt it Chartreuse would be so bright that it would effect my eyes. However, i didnt think about the issue with the chalk. I guess as long as i kept it clean through a damp cloth or brushing the standard blue chalk would be ok.

And besides, if 3-4 months down the road i dont like it i suppose i could have Powder Blue reinstalled again.

I believe aubergine might give you the chatoyancy that you are looking for.

Why be ordinary when you have all the colors of the Rainbow to choose from.
If you know what I mean.:wink:

I don't know about Hell, but you will be spending a few birthdays in purgatory.

You like it...buy it. I'll bet it looks sharp. I went for Gold on my IV. I considered Olive.
Goes with the room. Fashion matters.:D
 
Chartreuse is for spinnerbait skirts. Tournament Blue would be my choice.

tournament bluse would be my choice but if you need something lighter why not tan instead of sick baby snot...
 
Orange

I have put orange on a few tables and as awful as that sounds it started to look good after a while and the owner loved it. He did comment that he was the only one that mattered since he was paying the bill and he was the owner.
 
I played in a pool room in Delaware (long since gone) that had bright colored cloth. I'm colorblind, so I can't say the exact color it was. Looking at the Simonis web page, I think it was either Camel or Chartreuse color. The owner was a pro level player, and said the bright color made it easier to see the balls. I liked playing on the cloth he had.
