It took a while to get it, but HOT DAMN, was the wait worth it! It's a 31" Jacoby custom butt. Brown-stained birdseye maple forearm, Cocobolo butt sleeve w/tulipwood inlays, wrapless (but stained to simulate a black linen wrap), stainless steel piloted 5/16x14 pin.
I wanted this butt to get some more length on my cue, fully intending to use my 29" Predator 314-2 shaft with it for an overall length of 60". But since I ordered the butt, I have purchased a 30" OB Classic that fits the new butt. The Predator shaft played GREAT on the new butt, and there were no issues at all on the cues balance with the 29" shaft. But with the 30" OB Classic shaft, OMG what a fine playing cue this combination turned out to be. Wow, as good of a hitting/playing cue as I have ever had in MY hands!!! 61" of pure, heavenly joy! Balances good, hits GREAT, and feels GREAT in my hands. No more holding the cue at the rearmost part of the butt sleeve for me. First rack of 8-ball I shot with the new Jacoby butt/OB Classic combination resulted in a break-and-run (and I ran out the rest of the table just for good measure). Nice way to "christen" the cue in, eh? Here's a few pics:
