The below picture was just sent to me by Steve.
The joint protectors are finished and on their way to me now.
The picture is awesome and I cannot wait to get them on my cue.

Now I did buy the JP's from Steve because of all the positive messages left by others on the forum.
Thought I would just show off the amazing work of Steve and I will let everyone know what they look like when they finally arrive.

what does a set of jp's like that usually cost?
they are nice. but i think i would like a set with maple windows in it instead of the ivory.. but the ivory looks nice too.. good luck with them...

Hey buddy, very nice, which cue are they for? Since I got all this Tulip wood & Brazilian Ebony & other Brazilian woods, when I get back from NY I'm going to start making JP's also. I'm going to order the JP pins from Atlas when I'm in NY next week, Radial, 5/16-14 & 18 to start with.

Take a look at Steve's website for some of the window JP's.
His page shows JP's from simple designs to some really nice inlay work to match a cue.
Prices for his standard models are shown on his page.
Feel free to contact Steve by e-mail and he historically responded within 8-12 hours for me.

Looking forward to getting these in my hands.

The JP's are for a Black Boar cue that Tony has right now.
Doing a bit of upgrading so all my playing cues are covered in black lizard. The list is now Bender, Schick, Black Boar and Mike Gulyassy custom jump/break cue all covered in lizard.

The custom JP's were just something to set the BB off with. It is a special cue that I have chased since the pool expo at VF in 2005. A lot of time went into finding this one and it did need some attention to bring it back up to my high standards. But Tony is a great guy and took the lady in for a face lift.

I have purchased jp's from Steve in the past as we as Chad McClennon, CAM Custom Cues (aka: BilliardKing). I have a 1x2, 5/16-14 set of ebony with curly maple windows that I will sell.

Yes, I have the model W5, ebony w/curly maple windows, 1butt/2shafts for $45 shipped.
I have other jp's, I'll take some photos soon and post them on here. Most of what I have is solid wood. I'm not trying to take away from Steve or Chad, besides the ones I have were bought from them originally.

Thanks,
Zim
