Well Marty you asked me to apologize to you here on az billiards so everyone can see.
Marty Herman,,,,,I am sorry if anything i have said in the past has hurt you or your reputation in any way. Now i sincerely hope that this will end the fued between us................mike

Ha... I had the "pleasure" of sitting next to him last year at the International Challenge of Champions @ Mohegan Sun. He's something else...
 
If there's anybody who owes anyone an apology, it is Marty Herman to Mike Zuglan.

Marty's racial and inflammatory written remarks, in the past and present, the most recent of which was after the IPT event in Vegas, are extremely offensive. Marty's recent little nugget should have legal authorities brought in on Mike Zuglan's behalf.

Without even knowing the particulars of the event in question, I could agree more with that statement. If you could elaborate on what happened I'd be interested. If you can't, that is perfectly understandable.
Everybody knows Marty can be a loose cannon and everybody knows Mike Zuglan is top shelf.
 
When he was invited to the WPA event in Germany in the early 90's he sold his USA cue case made especially for him by Guiseppe with his name on it just for the money.
 
Looks like MATTY would have been better off if CUEBALL 1950 didn't apoligize.

Please let me explain what has happened and brought everything to this point. My name was used in an email that Marty sent to someone else and i saw that email and i sent him an email asking him not to use my name like he did and that i was going to forward it to the other people mentioned in it for their response.. (that was my 1st mistake) After getting an email from Marty telling me to call him at a number he left for me, (which i did do and got a voice mail and left a verbal apology) full of language that i would not even post in a mens room. i decided to try to end this fued between marty and myself. I sent him another email apologizing like he asked me to. then later on i followed it up with another email expressing my sincerest apology to him. Again i get an email full of foul language and wishing death on myself and him threatening bodily harm. (was told, you better be prepared to face me and back up your s##t).

Again i tried to apologize. This time he accepts it and says. "thanks i needed that". Later that day i got another email berating me again. this time he demanded that i apologize to him here on az billiards. Which i have done. I sent him an email asking him to end this finally. he sent me a reply agreeing to do so. Then i get another 1 from him a little later with the same type of threats and language. I then inform Marty that in my opinion there is nothing i can do in apologizing to him that he will accept.

So apparently i am now back on his bad side and i am tired of all this bickering. Just so everyone knows. On his side this is being fueled by someone else who Marty claims i am trying to hurt who is his business partner. I have absolutely no idea who his business partners are and don't care. I have saved every email sent between us in case i have to prove my poiint to anybody. i am just tired of all the infighting in pool. i have no intention of apologizing any further. I have apologized to Marty several times and apparently he cannot accept my apology for some reason. i have nothing to hide and i have tried to handle this problem like a man and have done several times what i was asked to do...mike

Are you kidding me someone is actually concerned about being nice to Marty Herman...What is the world coming too:confused: :D
 
You know, it's times like these that I wish I had been better read on my AZ forums before buying from him.
But on the other hand, it's not everyday that you get an offer to meet up with a baseball bat after sending a money order for something. He's a trip all right. But it was a nice brand new cue that played great!
 
Who are what is a Marty Herman? From reading these post I am almost positive I'd never want to meet this person.

this sounds like a case of a nice guy(you) trying to apologise and the other party(him) mistaking KINDNESS for WEAKNESS and wanting to assume the bully role and try to bully someone. seems to me you have a solid reputation amongst other azers and i would put this behind me without another thought. my 2 cents.
