Guys we owe a huge thank you to Miliken cloth for stepping up to the plate for the second year in a row to help out the Valley Forge 14.1 Challenge this year and helping us cover $500.00 worth of expenses and of course cover 3 of our Diamond Pro Am Tables.
We can't wait to get that cloth on the table and ensure the maximum quality of playability for all of the players in our event and we can't thank them enough.

Charlie:
I echo your sentiments about
Milliken being a GREAT sponsor of our event! Thank you so much, guys (if you're reading this).
One thing I wanted to reiterate, though (as mentioned in my post in your "how many tries" thread), is that the balls react differently on the Milliken product, over other products that folks are more familiar with. It will take a couple tries, running a couple racks, before you get the "feel" of this very-different cloth. Just ask Bobby or John about this. (And yep, I did -- they themselves told me.)
What's great about the Milliken product is how wear-resistant it is. By the end of the event, the cloth still looked new, even though it'd been played on almost 24/7 during the entire event. By way of comparison, the tables in the other booths around the 14.1 Challenge booth showed significant signs of wear on their Simonis product.
(And no, I'm not just referring to that barbox right next to us where it was "open season" with jump and masse cues -- that poor table had smoking craters [literally!] and char marks in the cloth.)
I'm looking forward to a great event. Like I mentioned in the other "how many tries..." thread, I'd like to offer my two Delta-13 Elites (with leather noise suppressors installed) on loan to use for the duration of the 14.1 Challenge. I know that many of us 14.1 players love the Delta-13 product, because it racks the balls so accurately, and the very thin walls allow for break balls much closer to the rack than a standard wood rack. With the leather noise suppressors installed, it sounds just like a standard wood rack -- no "ting-ting-ting" metallic sound. I would be honored if you'd take me up on this offer!
Back on topic, many thanks to Milliken for their great sponsorship of our event -- again!
