Was at the local pool room today and this older gentleman was playing on a few tables over and i saw that he had a custom cue so after talking to him for a few minutes.. i found out it was a palmer and i told him i would look into it and see what catalog model it was.. but after looking at the catalogs, i could not find it.. so i thought i would take a few pics and share it here on the forum..

check it out.. the wrap is not original.. he said it came with the white with green spec linen.. and a few years ago he had it changed because it was old and worn..

The design is from the Ray Martin line. Its called the Jaguar. Now maybe that cue was made outside the Martin line, it should have been signed. The Jaguar was also stained. But its the same cue design.

Joe,

Good call.

This one was a prototype they were thinking of putting into production, then used the design for Ray's cues - which explains why this one has the logo.

I believe this is one of their epoxy finishes. They should have left that stuff on the shelf!

Is it me, or does the shaft ring not match the butt joint ring?

Cool cue and history.
