Live 14.1 Stream

Now THAT is truly great news!

Congrats to Steve and Curly for securing this venue. Dennis had mentioned that the qualifier would be streamed, just not by who.

A huge sigh of relief that MI_Billiards and Live2Ustreams will be bringing their expertise to this event.

Just a word of caution guys .... pool tables have six holes.

LOL.

Jim

Very good question Bob.

I thought it was to be a one day event and Dennis in the post I quoted only mentions the 23rd. But now I notice on the flyer it says 23rd and 24th.

To answer your question, we will stream on the 24th if needed but I suspect that it will finish on the 23rd.

Steve: It will be a one day event. It may end early in the morning, but that is the way we have always done it. Charlie's posters all claim that they are two day events, but I do not think so.

Thank you, Dennis.

16. Jeff Carter (Sailor said he thought Jeff would play but unconfirmed as of today)

Look at number 11, who committed last night.

Two years ago, he came out of the winners side, but was unable to go to NJ. Since then, he has had a long session with Dallas West. He has to be one of the front runners.

I received an email from Mark Snodgrass, who came in second to Karabotsos about 4 or 5 years ago. I would not be surprised to see him at Red Shoes . I know he has run 100 before.

The field might be getting a little stronger!

Commentators

Dennis Walsh has posted in the 14.1 section that George Fels and Freddy the Beard will be "in the booth" doing much of the commentary.

This should be a great event and hope to see all of you in the chat room.

Steve

Steve I see Lou Figueroa signed up to play !

You should get him in the booth for commentery. I'm sure all the azers would like to hear from Lou and put a face and voice to the famous azer !

Yes he did - # double toothpick!

I'll second that!

Something New

We will be arriving at Red Shoes about 2:00 PM EDT and will be attempting something a new for us live stream.

Stay tuned for a stream from a totally different point of view. Should be interesting or at the very least, unusual.

Well, for me it is now time to get back to packing the gear, loading it all in the van, followed by the 3 hour drive to Red Shoes.

See you there.
