Just got these cues in today from Steve Klapp.

The Palmer was completey restored by Steve's shop in Galesburg, IL. It looks better than new!

The cue on the left is for my 9 year old son. And the fancy butterfly is for Dad.

I am saving for one now. How do they play? The balance nice? Thanks, John

I got a chance to try out the butterfly last night and it played excellent! Soft hitting yet accurate. Nice feel to the hit. Cue plays like a combination possessing the best of old and new school cues. Steve mentioned (I believe that I got this right...) that his tapers are very close to Southwest tapers. Balance is just right on...I don't even think about it. Workmanship and finish are truly outstanding. ...And, if I told you what I paid for these 2cues and the Palmer restoration...well, let's just say it was very fair.

I would encourage anyone to get one of Steve Klapp's cues now before he "gets discovered" and gets expensive.

Below are some "before" pics of the Palmer.
