Hey Keith, I heard that you and Mark Tadd used to match up alot. People tell me that when he was playing his best, he was the best player in the world. I heard he used to spot champions the 7-ball. Is this true? Did you and Mark play even when you matched up?

Mark Tadd used to live in Utah for a very long time and I would sit and watch him play pool every Sunday. He still plays world-class pool in my humble opininon. He recently moved to Albuquerqe and I don't know if he plays down there very much. the word is that he has been playng hold 'em poker alot and doing very well.

Mark Tadd + Religion

He supposedly cleaned up his act a little and became a Born Again Christian (even though he still plays high-stakes poker)

Upping this thread for Keith. Keith, I'll bet Mark needed weight from you on the barbox, right?

If I was ever to play Mark, that would have been my choice of tables to play on. He wouldn't have asked for weight, but I believe on a bar table, he would have needed it. On a 9-footer, we'd play even.

Last time I saw him was in Las Vegas. He was over 200,000 winner playing poker, blew it all, and decided to take another route in life, away from gambling.

I've been catching Mark Tademy reading threads on onepocket.org so he still has an interest in whats going on in Pool. No matter what he's doing now it'll always be in his blood one way or another.

Hey, it's good to "hear" your voice, Mark! (LOL). Are you still playing poker, or what are you doing these days? Where are you living?

You know, many times I get asked about certain players, how I played them, how I play them now, who was the better player, and who is the better player. It's kind of difficult to answer these questions.

When we did hook up, I played you in your prime, but you never played me in my prime. But if I was to have to count five guys on my fingers as to who is the straightest shooter I've ever played, you would be certainly be one of them.

Good to see you posting. Hope all is well with you!

Your friend,

Keith

well long story got married 7 years ago ust got divorced and was working for years . then started playing poker here in albuquerque nm. and just taking it a day at a time. wouldnt mind playing pool again one day but not sure yet. the tour seems pretty tough , and i would have to put a lot of time in whick i dont mind. might try to play in tourneys around the state of nmexico . i can still play fair . may be able to get it back if i practice alot i hope. if you know of any tourneys around this state let me know. well i do know this i played you one time in n. carolina and you got in pretty good stoke dont know if you remember but we played all night and no one missed for hours and we broke even. i wasnt quite expecting that but back then you would either be playing good or bad but it seemed the longer you played the more consistant you got..:) well talk to you later mark

Are you suggesting that it is un-Christian-like to play poker? I don't see any connection between the two things.
