Here is a listing of weekly local tournaments, $20 to $25 entry fee in the Metropolitan D.C. area. It's a great way to keep in stroke, socialize with other pool enthusiasts, and MAYBE win a little chunk of change for your efforts.

Some of the regular cast of players in this area are: Virginia Young Gun Pookie, Ryan "Genie Man" McCreesh, UPA Touring Pro Mike Davis, Keith "Earthquake" McCready, Veteran Wayne Collins, Roadster Gerry Slivka, and Seniors Tour Player Tommy Kay. In a tournament, a race to 7, ANYTHING can happen, and I've seen every single one of these fellows go up and down (LOL). There is never a dull moment, and the after-hours action is on the rise.
We have a great group of pool players, enthusiasts, and fans in the D.C. area, and it is growing, most likely due to the growing cast of regulars on the Planet Pool 9-Ball Tour!
