Wes the cue is from the 1983 Viking Catalog model number A85. The cue cost $85 new in 1983, and according to the Blue Book of Cues it is worth $195 in 98%, $150 in 90%, and $90 in 70% condition.

If your cue is straight, shaft and Butt, together and apart it appears to be worth what you are paying for it. Any way if you like it that is all that really matter any way!!!!!

Hope this helps and have a good night!!!!

Where do you get your info from.... I know alot of you have Blue Books, but I dont....Not yet atleast. And why dosn't Viking have a page for their previously produced and discontinued cues, like Meucci and McDermott do? Or do they?

Well truth be told...

I would really love a custom conversion by some of you guys...but when your a broke college student, who lives off of student loans, its not exactly easy to just go buy a Titlist by Scruggs or Sly or Shick (hometown hero) or any of you other greats...the moneys just not there...so you make do with what you can....

I figure I'll have it re-wraped in a white and double brown linen...possible have the shaft refinished...you know conditioned and waxed...maybe have someone local do a lil something else...And I'll just make it my Custom 1/1...I may go for a Predator 314 and just try to find someone to do a matching colar.
