You judge for yourself.

I receieved a PM saying "You don't look like Trudeau but you sound like him."
Sometimes I wish I loved any game but this one.

Thank you for posting the replay. I didn't remember it being straight in (or almost straight in) with 1-2 inches to spare to pass the 2 ball as others have stated (Jamie). This shows it like it was, even Banks, jr had to look at it a couple of times to make sure it passed. The tournament was great and your coverage made it special. Thanks again.

Sorry to be asking, but is it correct that Orcullo broke down during this game? What point?

Where is the 'soft stroke' shot? Where/ when was the shot that was a pushout?

Orcollo broke down sometime when banks was shooting the 1 or 2. The roll shot happened on the 8 ball.

Orcollo broke down and was gone by the time Banks was on the 2. The lag to the 8 is a non-issue as the ring game was over at that point.

DO broke down right after Banks made the shot...which as I tried to tell everyone was not a hanger like some with "drama queen" tendencies tried to imply. DO broke his cue down which can only be construed as a forfeit.

Banks realized this later in the rack and with the game over, Banks rolled up on the 8 to end it all. McMinn grabbed the balls for the next rack.

This ain't no hanger! Yes, I also noticed he had to look twice to see if it passed, and shape on the two wasn't guaranteed either. By the way, I thought Mike made an honest effort to hit the one in the first place. He shot hard and hit the point of the side.

Thanks for posting this Justin.

That was certainly far from a hanger.. From my experience, I was brought up on ring games, 90% of players would pass that shot. Shapes on the 2 were far from guaranteed as Jay mentioned. I see nothing dirty what so ever.

Thanks for keeping us updated through T.A.R.

Peace, JBK

So this is the shot that everybody is up in arms about?

I see nothing wrong here.

BTW, this is one of the BEST YouTube videos I have seen of pool. EXCELLENT clarity.

Don't quit loving the game. It's not the game that is the problem. It's the monkeys.

Thanks for everything! Great job, and well done!

Smart Move

Smart move if you ask me. The worst thing that could have happened to him was he had to put Orcollo out. I think that Jamie was steaming still about the threat of him losing his bet with Cardone. Nothing wrong there.

I was at the tournament saw the shot and talked to dennis at the bar after the game he was very upset and I can see why but I and most of us if being honest would have done the same thing you got the best player left in the tournament out and guaranteed yourself atleast $5000 more for 1st or 2nd. Using the rules to your advantage yes would I have done the same thing yes if it was dennis and parica in the final 3 they probably would have done the same thing. Just my opinion.

DING! We have another winner. You may have finally got to the real reason for McWoofWoof rant's. Whoever thought of this name deserves some rep.

Whoever said that is an idiot! Don't give up you guys at the action report. I support everything you guys are doing and what ever you are planning. You are doing what most of us wish we had the guts to do.

Thanks and have a great day!

I would actually have taken the shot and not passed it back. My view has always been if I can see the ball and it can be made I will go for it! The reason being, who is to say that you wouldn't get hooked after he shoots or you are left with an even more difficult shot. When you are playing with chumps, I might let the guy shoot again because I know they will not make it, but with world class players who can get out from anywhere, I would rather put my chances of winning in my own hands.

Thanks Justin for all your work. I didn't catch the live internet-cast, but looking forward to the next one. Keep it up, and hope you get some good return on this investment as I would be interested in buying for the next go around :p And oh, don't pay any mind to the jerks along the way, keep your vibe positive

If that shot is the "SHOT" in question all i can say is wow. How do you say that was a "shady" thing to do. The balls in the lower right are a little tied up and the 3 is hard to fall on and not to mention the 1 is no treat to get on the 2.

I must say i believed that something funny happened just by hearing and obviously knowing the circumstances but i must say after seeing that. Shane was completely in the rules and i would even go as far to say that he may have turned that shot down in the first game of the tournament.

Having sweated Shane for the whole tournament I can tell you that this wasn't the first one of these shots and layouts that he passed back. At least 3 other times throughout the weekend he passed back being able to see the ball to an opponent because other balls were tied up and there was no clear out. One in particular, early on saturday morning cost him falling below a 1000 for a brief period of time.
